Although the pandemic put the live component of the Electronica Exhibition in Munich on hold for 2020, it wasn’t able to stifle the lively information exchange and educational opportunities that happened at the virtual event, held November 9-12. Wurth Electronics, one of the many vendors who had a virtual exhibit at Electronica, is also offering a follow-on program of technical education at “WE meet @ digital days 2020,” running from Dec. 1-3.
The classes in Wurth’s program appear to be a healthy mix of very technical drill-downs into specific design and engineering issues and sessions devoted to showcasing the latest electronic components for various applications.
Here’s a small sampling of the programming from each of the three days:
Tuesday, December 1, 2020
8 AM: Board Level Shielding and Handling Common-Mode Noise in new high frequency technologies
10 AM: RF connectors: How to choose the suitable product based on frequency, losses, handling and costs
11:30 AM: Automotive: Introduction of new products
Wednesday, December 2, 2020
9 AM: ZIF/LIF Interconnection – mechanical and electrical characteristics in depth
11:30 AM: Wireless Connectivity & Sensors: Introduction of new products
