Product Management is the connective tissue driving innovation at Wayfair. With over 100 Product Managers, Wayfair has a dedicated, user-focused PM core tackling everything from optimizing our product detail pages, to creating and promoting our house brands including Hashtag Home and Greyleigh. In this video, Brand Experience & Tools Product Manager Chris Ladouceur runs through what it’s like to be a Product Manager at Wayfair, our Pod and Superpod organizational structure, and how our PMs work with user research, user experience design, web analytics, engineering, and other teams to continually identify, design, and create the products and services that help our customers find the perfect items for their homes.
Chris grew up in Boulder, Colorado with his 3 sisters and studied Architecture at the University of Colorado. Chris founded his first business, Neon Mobile, out of college and came to Boston when his company was accepted into the MassChallenge accelerator. After Neon’s acquisition, Chris joined HapYak Interactive Video as their Creative Director, taking on additional product management responsibilities over the course of three years. Chris was most recently the Consumer Product Manager for Lovepop in Boston before joining Wayfair in April of 2019. Chris leads our Brand Experiences Integrations team bringing our style curated white labelled brands to our customers across the funnel.
